My Story

I’m Jacqueline, an Australian with Sicilian and Greek heritage. My family tree is a chaotic mix of Mediterranean cultures, which makes for some seriously delicious family gatherings, let me tell you.

I was born in the big city lights of Melbourne but grew up in the small(ish) coastal city of Cairns. I’m a lover of all things pop culture, history, politics, food, fiction and travel.

Carry Me Home Collective was born on a somewhat cloudy afternoon in the terrace of my university, where I finally decided it was time to stop procrastinating this little dream of mine.

This space is my love letter to the places that made me feel alive, the advice that ignited my spark again and the little things that bring joy into my life.

Expect tales of laughter, chaotic advice, lessons learned, and maybe even a few embarrassing moments thrown in for good measure.

Here’s to chasing sunsets, getting lost in foreign streets and living unapologetically.
